All Purekorⁱ FSCⁱ ACQⁱ preservative treated lumber is manufactured with high quality, kilnⁱ dried, western Hem/Fir lumber. All lumber is S4Sⁱ, double end trimmed (DETⁱ), with Eased Edges (E/Eⁱ) and is graded and grade stamped under NLGAⁱ rules. This product is kiln dried after treatment to remove excess moisture and make it lighter in weight for shipping purposes.

Purekorⁱ FSCⁱ ACQⁱ preservative treated lumber is produced using the new ACQ preservative and process. ACQ is a highly effective wood preservative and is used to replace the previous chemical CCAⁱ (Chromated Copper Arsenate). ACQ has been introduced as a safer alternative to CCA because it does not leech chemicals into the environment. This product is incised with small cuts before treatment to help ensure the chemicals that are used to treat this material can penetrate fully when placed into the vacuum chamber where the process takes place.
