Specifications

Most thicknesses are available in all panel sizes. Pyroblockⁱ Platinumⁱ MDFⁱ is made with no added urea formaldehydeⁱ and is produced in accordance with the requirements of ANSIⁱ A208.2-2002 as per ASTMⁱ E 1037-96a. The panel utilizes a proprietary intumescent coating developed by Panel Source for use on wood products. This panel achieves a Class A fire rating. This panel is certified in accordance with ASTM E84 and CAN ULC S102. Pyroblock panels can be painted, laminated, or veneered. This product is FSCⁱ Certified under Panel Source Chain of Custodyⁱ number SCS-COC-00569. Purekor® and Pyroblock® are registered trademarks of Panel Source International, Inc.

Description

Pyroblockⁱ Platinumⁱ MDFⁱ is a Class A Fire Retardant, premium gradeⁱ MDF panel that contains no added Urea Formaldehydeⁱ, is FSCⁱ Certified and contains 100% pre-consumer recycled content.

Uses

Pyroblockⁱ Platinumⁱ MDFⁱ can be used in multiple applications wherever building codes call for a Class A Fire Retardant panel. Applications range from wall or ceiling paneling, kiosks, elevators, Architectural millworkⁱ, custom lay up or coreⁱ material for OEMⁱ manufacturing. The panel can be painted, laminated, or veneered with outstanding results.
