Urea Formaldehyde

Urea formaldehyde (UF) has been traditionally used in the composite panel (mdf and particleboard) industry. It has been the choice resin, due to low cost, and ease of use. New government regulations in conjunction with building programs like LEED, are helping transform the market so that products are no longer made with UF. Alternatives to UF is PF (phenol formaldehyde) and pMDI.
