Pyroblock is a proprietary intumescent coating developed by Panel Source for use on wood products. This coating results in a fire retardant panel that achieves a Class A fire rating in accordance with ASTMi E84 and CAN ULC S102. Pyroblock panels can be painted, laminated or veneered. Pyroblock is also certified for use in NY City under MEAi 481-06-M. Pyroblock can be applied to any number of substrates depending on what the customer needs. Pyroblock is certified on particleboard, MDF, Plywood, and OSBi.
