Panel Source recently completed the annual auditing process for FSCⁱ Chain of Custodyⁱ certification.

Thanks to the ever expanding green market, Panel Source has upgraded our Washington warehouse location, to provide more space, better access and greater flexibility, including direct rail car loading and unloading.

The new warehouse is located at 2122 Port of Tacoma Road, Tacoma, WA 98421. The phone number for that location is 253.581.2200. Craig Gidley, the manager of that location, can be contacted for pricing or product questions.

Skyline Design, an Illinois-based architectural product design/art services and manufacturer, is using Purekorⁱ Platinumⁱ MDFⁱ as well as Purekor Hardwood Plywood in their new product, Greenplay TM, which is a line of children’s
furniture.

Last year Panel Source was given the opportunity to participate along with several other companies and FSCⁱ Canada in developing the Canuhome. This is essentially a green housing structure that incoporates many different green features. The Canuhome project has and is being showcased at various tradeshows, mainly in Ontario. The most recent show, The Green Living Show, held in Toronto was a huge success. More than 12,000 visitors toured the Canuhome.

Panel Source is pleased to announce that Purekorⁱ has been verified and accepted by Green Alberta. Green Alberta is an independent third party verifier of green products for use in the construction industry in Alberta.

Panel Source International, Inc., is pleased to announce the appointment of Glen Lowe to the position of Market Manager - Canada. Glen will be based out of the company’s head office in St. Albert, Alberta, and will manage Panel Source sales and marketing activities in Canada. This territory includes all Canada as well as export markets. The introduction of LEED Construction Rating Systems in Canada and certain off-shore markets have increased the demand for Panel Source’s PureKor® and Pyroblock® products.

After several painstaking months, Panel Source is happy to unveil its new website. It has been designed with ease of navigation in mind. With apologies to the creator of the hit TV series “CSI: Miami”, we are pleased to announce our own version - “PSI: Miami”. Panel Source is pleased to announce the appointment of Larry Musil as the company’s Market Manager-East. Larry will be operating from the company’s Eastern Region Sales Office, in Miami, Florida. Larry brings an extensive background in construction, design and forest products to Panel Source. As a university student, Larry graduated in architecture, and then went on to manage and expand the family’s millworkⁱ and veneer business.

Panel Source International is pleased to announce the opening of our fourth regional sales office. The new office, situated in Shell Lake, Wisconsin, will manage all Panel Source sales and marketing activities in the company’s Central Region, including the states of Iowa, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, Minnesota, Northern Michigan, North and South Dakota, Western Ohio, and Wisconsin.
